The Polaroid Sew-Along is off to such a great start! It has been so much fun looking through #polaroidsewalong2017 and seeing all of the fabrics that participants have been using. Even though we are all using the same block, our projects are really going to be so different. It is amazing how we can get a little peek into each other’s lives through the polaroids. We can certainly get an idea of one another’s fabric buying preferences!
Here are a few images from #polaroidsewalong2017 – we have such a great group of participants, and I’m excited to share with you what they’ve been working on. All images shared with permission!
Was able to cut out some “photographs” for the #polaroidsewalong2017 hosted by @myteaandbrie #myteaandbrie and @urbansewciety #urbansewciety. I have some more gnomes and I am hoping 😬to raid @institcheshandsewn scrap baskets for more mushrooms and acorns 😉🍄🐿

I thought I would share how I fussy cut my squares for the #polaroidsewalong2017. I use my 2 1/2″ #creativegridsrulers so I get the correct size cut. But I washi tape 1/4″ around the outside so I can make sure the image is exactly how I want it after accounting for the seam allowance. #urbansewciety #myteaandbrie @myteaandbrie @urbansewciety
Latergram from yesterday, because today has been filled with organizing closets. 📷 Sewing all of my squares onto 2.5″ strips and then trimming down. Super fast so far and a good way to make sure they’re accurate. 📏 #polaroidsewalong2017 #myteaandbrie #urbansewciety #polaroidquilt
