{Transitions} Westfield, New Jersey Fine Art Photographer

I’m usually the last one to admit it, but this year, I feel like one of the first.  I don’t want to come right out and say the “F” word, I really don’t want to scare you away.  But, I just don’t think that I have much of a choice.

Fall. It’s coming.

It’s starting to get dark earlier – our walks that had been ending at nearly 8:30 or later are now over by 7:45.  It’s dark enough by 8 o’clock that the night light in the girls room has to be on.  Leaves are beginning to fall here, which may be a combination of the inevitable transition of the seasons, or maybe just a lack of water.  I was pelted by acorns on the way to the park, and the sycamores are beginning to shed their bark.

I love the summer, but I love the change of seasons even more.  Fall happens to be one of my favorite times of the year, and I’m looking forward to all of the things that comes with it.

Right now I’m working on getting together my Fall 2010 images for sale and display.  I will be participating at the following Fall Festivals:

September 11th & 12th – The Union County MusicFest

September 26th – Westfield’s 21st Annual FestiFall

October 2nd – Bound Brook’s 7th Annual Riverfest Festival

October 3rd – Somerville’s 23rd Annual Arts & Main

I will have my 2010 Fall and Winter images for sale, as well as a variety of print related products.  I will also be booking sessions, and am thinking about having a raffle for a free mini session for new clients.

I’ll announce these dates again in a newsletter, and will also create the events on my facebook fan page, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, are you still in summer mode, or are you feeling the arrival of Fall?

  • So. Pretty. I wish we had those kind of landscapes around here. We’re miles away from Fall here. It’s still light at around 9:30 at night and the temps seem to be happiest between 100-105 right now. It’s making getting good shots unbearable. I love Fall too. Maybe because it’s such a fleeting season down here in Texas.

  • Shhhhh – its from last year. I cheated. That was shot at the end of October, so it will be awhile before we see any of that!!!
