{Picture Spring} New Jersey Photographer

Starting April 1st, I’m going to be participating in an online e-course called Picture Spring.  It is being hosted by Big Picture Scrapbooking, and run by Tracey Clark.  I am really looking forward to it because it seems to be for people who not only love taking pictures, but are looking to make a bit of a journey out of it.  I failed my 365 this year, so I’m eager to start another project.  Perhaps I’ll take these projects a month at a time to see if I have some more success.

It has been raining like crazy here, so I decided to bring some Spring into the house in honor of the class.  From our warm, dry house, we hear the peepers waking up for the season and see daffodils in full bloom, but it is so wet, we haven’t been able to go outside and enjoy it.  So, these pretty babies are adorning the center of the table.

Normally I just go outside and cut flowers for the table, but we keep getting hit with these monster storms!  I am not sure where my boots are, so I’ve really been avoiding going outside.  Our backyard has a big beautiful pond, but because of this, the yard can get pretty soggy when it rains.  The daffodils love it, but my shoes… not so much.  I’ll wait until the ground firms up a bit to bring in some more.

So, these were purchased from the store and were well worth the $4, if for no other reason than I didn’t have to get my feet wet!  Spring is in full swing at our house, inside and out, despite the rain.  These daffodils have brought some much needed sunshine inside for us!

  • well, you think you guys would have earned a sunny spring after last year – here’s hoping it turns around after this! just a few hours til picture spring….!

  • These are beautiful! I’m also excited that Picture Spring is finally underway :)
