Patchwork in Greens and Blues

Title: Patchwork Quilt in Greens and Blues (This is currently FOR SALE)

Dimensions: approximately 82″ x 65″  – a large lap quilt, picnic blanket, and could be used on a twin bed.

Fabric: A half yard bundle of Denyse Schmidt Chicopee fabric in the Relish colorway.  You can still find some available on Etsy!

The Process: Straight forward patchwork!  I started with strips, and cut them into groups of blocks to make it a little faster.  I finished it with my go-to binding method.

Quilting: Quilting lines followed the vertical and horizontal lines of the patchwork.  I spread the lines out over a few blocks and skipped a block which created a nice effect on the back. I quilted about 1/4″ on either side of the seam.  This quilt is SUPER soft because of the spread out quilting, and feels like such a warm blanket.

What Needs to be Done:  Just need to find it a forever home!

For Next Time: I’’ll be making another one in the corresponding colorway, Push Pop.  I’m thinking I may make this a tie quilt instead of machine quilting it.  Interested in buying the pair? Let me know!

Just a note, it is now August!  Interested in ordering for Christmas?  Now would be a great time to touch base and place your orders.  The early bird, and all that!
